• Welcome to GAB Athletics!

Our students have the opportunity to participate in track, wrestling, goalball, and cheer. The GAB panthers are part of a regional athletic group called SCASB (South Central Association of Schools for the Blind). They compete against five other schools for the blind in nearby states (Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana), rotating which school hosts. In the fall, the schools compete all weekend in wrestling and cheer as well as displaying their talents at a performing arts showcase.  In the spring, the athletes come back together and compete for the weekend in track and field events.  This year our athletes traveled to the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired where they displayed incredible athleticism and demonstrated great team work. Go Panthers!

Coach Guest has been in education for over 13 years.  He started teaching in Florida and coached baseball, football, and basketball at the middle school level.
