GAB Wrestling

Our students have the opportunity to participate in wrestling. GAB participates with the other schools in our conference, which is the South Central Association of Schools for the Blind (SCASB), during their winter tournament. We hope to compete at a few other regional showcase tournaments where we can compete with individual wrestlers, as opposed to supplying a full team. Our wrestling team uses the standard NFHS rules, except they must start out touching.  If during the match the wrestlers break contact and one evades, points can be deducted.
